FORRM is excited to announce the release of their MERCER St. EP, available on Bandcamp and as a limited edition 12″ Vinyl. Entirely produced in NYC at the Lower East Side Flow Studio during the winter of 2025, this EP showcases a rawer garage sound, pushing the boundaries of their musical exploration.
Recorded live and mixed by local producer David Patillo, the MERCER St. EP marks a significant chapter in FORRM’s journey, concluding their NYC sequence with a powerful homage to the city that has inspired them. Dive into this captivating sonic experience and celebrate the vibrant energy of New York City through FORRM’S unique lens.
To mark the release the free rock ensemble will exclusively unveil FORRM ! AGE OF KAOS a one night sit down live performance in the low key atmosphere of Victor Gallery’s midtown NY space, reconnecting to freeform explorations mirroring their signature 2022 Venice Biennale opening week performance.
FORRM is the avant-garde music haven of Firouz FarmanFarmaian, where experimental fusion rock takes flight.
February heralds the digital release of FORRM Live @ the MAD, capturing the essence of their December concert in Manhattan. This release will be accompanied by a full immersive film of the event, showcasing the band’s unique performance. The live spectacle unfolds in the sub-terrain of the Museum of Arts and Design, where AI-generated visuals dance with the band, creating a mesmerizing loop of sound and sight. The AI vortex intertwines with instruments, triggering hallucinatory projections that elevate FORRM’s sound into an immersive experience.
FORRM thrives on spontaneity, blending raw live energy with innovative digital mixes, championing experimental art across sound, visuals, and immersive installations. Their debut album, FORRM NU FORRM (’22), resonated at the Kyrgyz Pavilion during the 59th Biennale di Venezia, merging Eastern and Western influences.
The GALACTICA EP, released on December 12, 2024, revisits FarmanFarmaian’s rock roots and features two remixes, evolving into a post-rock fusion. Bootlegs from the December shows and sessions in NYC will be released in the coming weeks, distinct from the EP.
As part of their journey, THE FORRM TAPES—recordings from livestreams—will be free for We R The Nomads Records members and offered as signed limited edition cassettes for collectors.
